A Project Leader (PL) partners with more senior Client Service team members to manage projects. This position provides unique challenges in that the PL must simultaneously own the internal process and begin to assume more external client responsibilities. Eventually the PL will be in daily contact with the client and be involved in strategy and decision-making issues. In this role, he/she must be a brand and LPK advocate and must begin to consult, question, and challenge the client and LPK team. A PL will also be involved in most aspects of project management: estimating, invoicing, brief writing, motivating, and presenting.
The Requirements Specific to the Project Leader Position
1. Serve as a secondary client contact.
2. Align client objectives and expectations, and communicate to the LPK team both verbally and in the form of a design brief.
3. Participate in internal design reviews representing the client’s point of view and understanding the creative team’s rationale. Offer thought-provoking questions and articulate problem-focused feedback.
4. Partner with senior client service team members to provide strategic advice and present design options and rationale to the client.
5. Ensure client alignment and enrollment by managing external communication in the form of status reports, summaries, timelines, etc.
6. Develop, manage, and invoice project budgets and create timelines accordingly.
Prerequisites:
• Fluency in English.
• Legally able to work in Switzerland (Swiss citizen or married to a Swiss citizen, EU citizen or married to an EU citizen or has a Swiss work permit)
• A four year degree in related field.
• 3-4 years related work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Macintosh platform.
